Hi, I’m Danny.
Thanks for stopping by. I’m a long-form producer with the Kansas City Chiefs.
I produce, shoot, and edit the Chiefs’ flagship documentary show The Franchise. With the goal of bringing fans inside the organization’s walls, The Franchise tells the off the field story. With back-to-back Super Bowl championships under our belt, The Franchise serves as a time capsule for the most critical moments in Chiefs history.
With the Chiefs, my work has been featured by Netflix, NBC Sunday Night Football, ESPN, RTL, and Sky Sports among others.
My path to Kansas City started at Colorado State University, where I worked as a student assistant in the athletic department’s video production department. From there, I interned with the New York Jets during the 2021 football season.
Documentary filmmaking is my pursuit of choice, so mixing it with football is a dream come true.
Kansas City Chiefs
Producer
Each Sunday, I have the best seat in the house: front and center, field-level with the honor of capturing history. I’ve been with the Chiefs since January 2022.
My primary work is on The Franchise, the Kansas City Chiefs’ long-form documentary series. Through training camp and football season, The Franchise chronicles players’ lives both on and off the field.
New York Jets
Seasonal Production Assistant
In Spring 2021, I joined the New York Jets as a Seasonal Production Assistant. My primary work was on Flight 2021 and One Jets Drive, though I also produced special features, tickets commercials, sponsorship pieces, and social content.
In Florham Park, I learned the intricacies of shooting NFL football and producing for an audience of millions.
Freelance Video Producer
During the pandemic, I operated independently in Colorado as a freelance producer. This gave me the opportunity to work outside of sports in all kinds of industries, and also allowed me time to work on special personal projects.
As a freelancer, I enjoyed high client satisfaction and retention.
Colorado State Athletics
Media Specialist
Humble beginnings. I’m September 2016, my audacious freshman self marched into the marketing office at Colorado State Athletics and asked if they’d let me to make videos.
They took a shot on me, and before long I found myself credentialed at football games with a camera in hand. I didn’t know what I was doing, but I learned before long.
For four years at Colorado State, I worked for the athletics department to capture and produce exciting content for football, men’s basketball, and other sports.
While my degree represents the College of Business, my professional success to this point would not have been possible without my experiences at CSU Athletics.
